Value: 750 Crore | Gemini Edibles and Fats (GEF) India, a manufacturer of edible oils and fats, is planning to double its capacity with an investment of around Rs 750 crore
The company intends to double its capacity to 50,000 tpm from the present capacity of 25,000 tpm in the next two years
Investment will be made towards setting up two processing units in Tamil Nadu and Odisha. These plants will have a capacity of 1,100 tpd each. Each plant will cost around Rs 240 crore. Moreover, the company will expand the capacity at Kakinada plant to 1,500 tpd from the present 400 tpd.
The funding for the project will be through internal accruals and debt
